About our teacher:
My name is Anett Nuttall, I was born Anett Stöckel in Dresden, Germany and lived there for over 40 years. From the age of 17, I studied and worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 9 years until I moved into administration for the city of Dresden. There I was responsible for the financial allocations, audits, facility and child care standards of the city’s kindergartens.
For many years, I spent my annual holidays in Australia where I met and eventually married my husband. I made my residential move to Australia in December 2018, my husband and I settled in Tanunda in August last year, the German Heritage here has a nice feeling for me.
I was encouraged by friends to contact the Barossa German Language Association because they were planning a German “Kinder Klub“ and looking for a coordinator and that’s how i became involved. Now I look forward to my Thursday afternoons with Kinder Klub, sharing fun and inspiring activities with the children while introducing them to some German traditions and language in a casual but inclusive environment.
