Our next Kaffee und Kuchen on Monday 25th September will be a delicious luncheon of Sauerbraten, red cabbage, potatoes and include our famous Kaffee und Kuchen afternoon tea. The cost is $25 per person and lunch is at 12 noon.

Our guest speaker is Nadine Helmi, co-author of the book “The Enemy at Home – German Internees in WW1”. Nadine is a curator, playwright and theatre director. A graduate of the University of Heidelberg, she worked as a theatre director in Germany before coming to Australia, where she founded the “Surf n Theatre Company for Young People”. Her extensive body of work includes the hughly popular Time Traveller Series commissioned by the Historic Houses Trust. Nadine has won a National Trust Heritage Award for her documentation and exhibition. She moved to Adelaide one year ago.
