As German ships brought more migrants each year and new generations of pioneer families from the Hills and Barossa sought land or work options, they created clusters around churches and schools and forged viable communities. Seminar stories trace factors influencing settlers’ moves, their hopes and hardships, and their success or failure.
Registration is essential, and the cost of $50 includes lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea. Presented by German Heritage Research Group (GHRG) & Barossa German Language Association (BGLA)
