Finders, Keepers, Storytellers: Exploring SA German Histories
A restored cottage, recorded songs, recipes, baptism, business, naturalisation, wills, a lost village, a shattered tombstone, state or local archives, private or community initiatives, including the Bethany app, Hills Local Wiki and Wendish Trail. Gather, hold, show, share, and tell diverse stories and preserve our heritage. Lunch included.
Presented by German Heritage Research Group (GHRG), Barossa German Language Association (BGLA) and Lutheran Archives.
When: Saturday 10th May 2025, 9:30am – 4pm
Where: Langmeil Lutheran Church hall, 5-7 Maria St, Tanunda
The GHRG is once more hosted by the Barossa German Language Association at the Langmeil Church in Tanunda. Registration is essential, and the cost of $50 includes lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea. Registration closes 1 May, 2025.
