Each month we meet to listen to a guest speaker, to join in speaking German and to enjoy Kaffee und Kuchen! We meet in the Langmeil Lutheran Church Hall, 7 Maria Street, Tanunda, between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm on the last Monday of the month. New members and visitors are always welcome.
30th April – Peter Mickan
“I have just returned from a visit to cities in China including Hanzhou and Shanghai. As part of a project I visited over a dozen schools and gave seminars and participated in discussions with teachers and administrators. At our Kaffee und Kuchen event I will talk about places and people with a focus on schools and selected aspects of education.”
Dr Peter Mickan is Visiting Research Fellow in the Faculty of Arts, University of Adelaide, South Australia, where he established and directed the postgraduate Applied Linguistics Program. He is Curriculum Moderator in the Adelaide International School.
