The Barossa Lantern Walk, or Laternenlauf, has become a much-loved winter tradition for families from all backgrounds. Whether you have German heritage or are simply looking for a family-friendly evening, everyone is welcome.

Enjoy lantern-making workshops, delicious German food, and as dusk falls, join us for a lantern walk around the Nuriootpa Oval, singing traditional German lantern songs along the way.

When: Saturday, 25th July, from 4pm (lantern walk begins at 6pm)

Where: Nuriootpa Rovers Football Club Room & Nuriootpa Football Oval, 13 Penrice Road, Nuriootpa SA

The walk is free to join. Lantern-making workshops are $5 per child, or bring your own lantern from home (battery-operated candles only). German food will be available for purchase before the walk.
